Be a part of land preservation! Join, volunteer, donate to the Manchester Land Conservation Trust, a
nonprofit, publicly supported organization dedicated to the acquisition, preservation, and maintenance of
open space lands and water resources in Manchester and surrounding towns, protecting habitat for animal,
bird, and plant life. The Trust's property includes forest, meadow, ponds, and a historic rail trail in
Manchester, Bolton, East Hartford, Glastonbury, and Vernon. The Trust promotes conservation and a love of the outdoors by leading free hikes on its properties, and supports hiking, bicycling, snowshoeing, fishing, birdwatching, and other healthful activities on our
properties of sufficient size. We welcome members and supporters.

Celebrating our Land Trust properties with photographs from our members and friends.
All are invited to submit high-resolution photos for consideration as our featured Land Trust
Photo of the Month! No prizes, but gratitude to the photographer, and gratitude for our protected open space
lands in the Manchester area. All photos chosen (there may be up to 2 per month) will be retained and accessible
in our Monthly Photos Index.
Send your photographs via email to
info@manchesterlandtrust.org and include your name, the date of photo, its location (one of our
Land Trust Properties) and what you like about that
particular Property. We'll review them and make the selection of this month's Photo(s) on or about the 20th of
the month.
(Note: Please put LAND TRUST PHOTO OF THE MONTH or something similar in
the Subject area of your email submission. Thank you!)
