Join, volunteer, donate to the Manchester Land Conservation Trust, a nonprofit, publicly supported organization dedicated to the acquisition, preservation, and maintenance of open space lands and water resources in Manchester and surrounding towns, protecting habitat for animal, bird, and plant life. The Trust's property includes forest, meadow, ponds, and a historic rail trail in Manchester, Bolton, East Hartford, Glastonbury, and Vernon. The Trust promotes conservation and a love of the outdoors by leading free hikes on its properties, and supports hiking, bicycling, snowshoeing, fishing, birdwatching, and other healthful activities on our properties of sufficient size.
